Home should be the place where you feel your best, it’s the place where you should feel safe and are surrounded by things you find to be useful or beautiful. Your furnishings should be comfortable and cozy. Home has taken on a whole different meaning in these times and having it feel like a sanctuary is now more important than ever. It’s the place where you make memories and spend time with those you love. Ultimately, your home should reflect the best version of who you are and, if done right, it’s a space you feel like you never want to leave.

We believe a home should be designed to meet your needs and how you live. Do you have kiddos? Pets? Parents living with you? What do you need in your outdoor space? Do you work from home? School from home? All of these factors come into play with thoughtful design and it’s important to know how the space needs to function for you and your family.

We think the best design looks like it has been collected over time. It’s the juxtaposition of the old with the new, the mixing of different textures, layers, and natural elements that makes a space visually interesting. We are happy to incorporate your favorite things as well as assist in editing out the things that are just filling the space. The end result will be a space that you look forward to coming home to that is full of whatever brings you joy.

This is essentially our à la carte design services.

Wendy will begin with a complimentary phone conversation, up to 10 minutes, to discuss your needs and see if we are a good fit for collaborating with you.

The consulting time can be spent as you like, whether that be:

  • an on-site visit editing what you already have for decor

  • e-design for clients who prefer to work online

  • shopping trip for new furnishings and accessories

  • collaborating on online shopping, providing links to selections

  • materials selection, such as paint color, flooring, tile, lighting, etc.

  • interior architecture advice, such as wall textures

  • reviewing of design or building plans

  • furniture placement or staging

  • shopping your own home

  • interior styling

This is the full-monty of design to make your visions of a dream home a reality. Tim and Wendy together will meet with you to understand your wishes, the scope of work, budget, and what it will take to make that vision come to fruition.

We focus on the design aspect of making your home a place you will never want to leave. This includes mood boards, sketches, and interactive Pinterest boards to help guide inspiration.

Wendy will also work as an integral part of the material and product selections {cabinets, light fixtures, faucets, flooring, tile, wall texture, etc}, as well as the furniture, window coverings, rugs, textiles {pillows, throws, furniture fabrics}, and accessory selections to pull together the final look.

Tim comes into the equation with a construction mind. He has an understanding of what the nuts and bolts of a renovation entail. He can collaborate with you and your contractor to ensure that the design is executed as envisioned and the highest quality craftsmanship is achieved with your project. That gives you the freedom to hire a general contractor that you trust while having our eye for design and detail to collaborate with the construction team you’ve chosen.
